Laughlin, NV

Entrance to the RIVERSIDE RESORT's Western Ballroom.	Calico Ridge traveled to Laughlin, NV to perform at Don Laughlin's RIVERSIDE RESORT.

Gatlinburg, TN - Convention Center

Calico Ridge traveled to Gatlinburg, TN, where they competed with other award-winning bands and performers from all over the country in a national competition for honors in various musical categories. Calico Ridge lead vocalist & keyboard player, Charly, won two National awards in the TRADITIONAL FEMALE VOCALIST and INSTRUMENTALIST categories.

Bakersfield, CA

Calico Ridge was honored to  perform at this famous venue in Bakersfield. Three large video screens projected live footage and close-ups of the band and the dancers. Other scheduled  performers included Jerry Lee Lewis and Buck Owens. Several concerts and videos are filmed on this very stage.

Brawley, CA

Brawley Cattle Call  The Brawley Cattle Call is Brawley's most well-known event. Each year, thousands flock to Brawley from all over California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, etc. to take in some professional rodeo action during the week-long Cattle Call festivities.  Calico Ridge was proud to headline the Cattle Call's largest dance party. Posters like the one pictured at left were displayed all over Brawley and the local country music radio station, KWST, did a live broadcast from the dance. One of Charly's original songs, Heart's Desire, was used on the radio commercial advertising the event. The commercial aired several times.
